Allen Sasse has served on the board since 2007. He is from Beason, IL and farms in the Atlanta and Beason area. Allen is also on the Beason volunteer Fire Department. Allen and his wife Heather have been married for 17 years and have 2 children Tyler and Peyton. In Allen’s spare time he enjoys watching his children participate in their sporting activities and he enjoys hunting.
Cary Hinton, Secretary has served on the board since 1995, Bement Grain for 3 years. He is from the Bement area and farms in the Bement, Milmine & Monticello areas. Cary and his wife Jaki enjoy watching plays, golfing & fishing together.
Dan Larson has served on the board since 2015. He is from the Bement/ Hammond area and farms in Bement, Hammond, and Monticello areas. Dan additionally serves on the boards for United Prairie and Piatt County Zoning. Dan and his wife Brooke have been married for 9 years and have 3 children Emerson, Audrey, and Cora. In Dan’s spare time he enjoys hunting, trap shooting and raising beef cattle.
Greg Briggs Vice President has served on the board since 2006. He is from the Argenta area and farms in the Argenta & Cisco areas. Greg additionally serves on the Argenta Park Board, an officer of the Cisco Fire Department, and is a Director for the Gerber State Bank. Greg and his wife Vicki have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. In Greg’s spare time he enjoys shotgun sports.
Josh Ponder has served on the board since 2013. He is from Hammond, IL and farms in Piatt & Moultrie counties. Josh additionally serves on the boards for United Prairie, Friendship Hill, and the Hammond Mutual Drainage District. Josh and his wife Becky enjoy watching their children participate in sports, camping & traveling.
Kyle Johnson, President has served on the board since 1996. He is from Argenta and farms in the Argenta, Milmine, and Monticello areas. Kyle additionally serves on the Holy Cross Lutheran Council. Kyle has a son and a daughter. In Kyle’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife Tracy, being outdoors, and flying his airplane!
Tim Schable has served on the board since 2016. He is Atwood, IL and farms in Douglas, Piatt, and Moultrie Counties. Tim and his wife Angie have 3 children Callie, Kolby & Chloe and 1 grandson Lincoln. In Tim’s spare time he enjoys watching the Texas Longhorns play, umpire for softball, spending time with his family, vacationing at Disney World and most of all being a “Pa-pa”.
Doug Adloff, Secretary, joined the Topflight Board of Directors in 2020. He is from Athens, IL, and has farmed in the Maroa/Emery area. He operates a trucking business, and hauls grain for Topflight and local farmers. Doug and his wife Coley are members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Decatur, and they have two children, Grace and William. In Doug’s spare time he enjoys snowmobiling and watching his kids participate in sports, including basketball, soccer, and BMX racing.
Scot Berry has served on the board since 2019. He is from Atwood and farms in the Pierson and Milmine area. Scot additionally serves on the United Prairie board. Scot and his wife Sharlie have 2 boys Anden & Adlee. In Scot’s spare time he enjoys watching his boys play sports, coaching JFL Football, woodworking, and relaxing at the pond & enjoying the outdoors.
Justin Goble joined the Topflight Board of Directors in 2021. He grew up in Weldon but currently lives in Downs and farms in DeWitt, Piatt, Macon & McLean counties. Justin and his wife Kristi have four kids – Chloe, Cooper, Piper & Presley. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, cheerleading & softball. Additionally Justin serves as a Director for Anchor State Bank and a Commissioner for Friends Creek Special Drainage District.
Jay Kindred, joined the Topflight Board of Directors in 2023. He grew up on a family farm in Atlanta. Jay is a 5th generation farmer who is part owner/operator with his parents and operates in Atlanta, McLean, Armington, & Miner. Jay and his wife Ashley enjoy weekends in the backyard with their 3 dogs, spending time with family and friends enjoying living in rural McLean County.
